Customs Regulations in Estonia

Nationals of UK don't need a visa to visit Estonia.

The following items are prohibited:
• harmful cut-and-thrust weapons, firearms and electric shock devices, as well as ammunition, prohibited for civilian purposes
• counterfeit goods, i.e. various consumer goods such as clothes, footwear, watches, clocks and the like, bearing a falsified trade mark
• pirated goods, including pirated copies of CDs and DVDs, video and audio cassettes and the like

It is important to declare all goods if the amount or value of goods exceeds the threshold provided for in legal acts. A customs declaration in written form shall be presented if the goods may not be declared orally or by choosing the Customs Red Channel.

Customs authorities have the right to seize undeclared goods!

The British citizen must, within the period of one month from the acquisition of the right of temporary residence, contact personally a customer service centre of the Citizenship and Migration Board (CMB) to apply for an identity card which certifies his/her right of temporary residence.
